National Cinema Day: Multiplex chains further reduce ticket prices from September 26 to 29
National Cinema Day was observed on September 23 when cinema halls witnessed a rise in footfalls across the country. Most cinemas sold tickets for just Rs. 75 and there were predictions that the Rs 75 per ticket scheme would contribute to healthy ticket sales.
However, the numbers were even more than the predictions. Almost all the shows across the country were house full.

In the meanwhile, there were a lot of people who failed to take advantage of the Rs 75 offer on National Cinema Day. Don't worry, here's good news for you.
As per the report in Bollywood Hungama, the multiplexes have decided to extend the National Cinema Day celebrations. No, the tickets won’t be available for as cheap as Rs. 75 but the rates would be reasonable.

The reduced price will now come to effect from Monday, September 26 till Thursday, September 29.
Earlier in the day, the multiplex chain MovieMax had announced that ticket prices would be from Rs. 70. In some theatres, MovieMax is reportedly selling tickets for just Rs. 100, even on Saturday, September 24, and Sunday, September 25.

Likewise, a source close to INOX Leisure Limited stated that the tickets for normal seats in Inox multiplexes will be available for flat Rs. 112 from Monday to Thursday.
