Nora Fatehi questioned by Delhi Police in connection to money laundering case

Nora Fatehi in money laundering case: In connection with a Rs 200 crore extortion case related to imprisoned conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi was questioned by the Delhi Police for almost four hours on Friday. The Economic Offenses Wing of the Delhi Police questioned Ms. Fatehi.

Sukesh Chandrasekhar and Nora Fatehi had previously been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in a joint investigation into a suspected money laundering case. This investigation is also listed on ED's charge sheet in the extortion money trail case. Fatehi was called by the police last week, and on Friday morning she appeared before the officer involved to record a statement.

In this investigation, Nora, reportedly, addressed more than 50 questions about the presents she received, the people she spoke with, the places she met them, and other issues.

According to reports, the actress was cooperating with the investigative team and said that she was not connected to Jacqueline Fernandez and that the two of them were speaking to Sukesh Chandrashekhar individually. During the interrogation, Nora Fatehi also admitted that after speaking with Sukesh's wife for a nail art event, she frequently called Nora. She also gave her gifts, including a BMW.

Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez was also called by the Delhi Police last week and has been asked to take part in the investigation on September 12.
