'Custody' OTT release date and platform: Naga Chaitanya's recently amazed his fans with the release of 'Custody'. The film directed by Vikram Prabhu also featured Krithi Shetty as the female lead. The film received mixed reviews from movie buffs and critics and managed to make around Rs 26.8 Crore at the box office.
Now, makers have announced to release Custody movie on digital platforms for everyone.
Director Venkat Prabhu has made this movie a concept-based crime thriller. Unlike typical commercial movies where the hero fights the villain, in 'Custody,' the hero's goal is to save the villain. The director has crafted a story around this concept, adding drama, action, and intense chases to the journey of an ordinary constable who confronts the Chief Minister, the Police Commissioner, and the bullies.
Krithi Shetty plays the female lead in the film, and it also marks Naga Chaitanya's debut in Tamil cinema as it's his first bilingual film. Arvind Swami portrays the antagonist, and Priyamani has a crucial role in the movie. Sarathkumar, Sampath Raj, Premgi Amaren, Vennela Kishore, and Premi Vishwanath are part of the supporting cast.
The digital rights for 'Custody', starring Naga Chaitanya, have been acquired by the streaming platform Amazon Prime Videos. After one month of its theatrical release, the movie will be available to watch on Amazon Prime Videos in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
Custody will be streaming on Amazon Prime Videos from June 9.
