'Jaane Jaan' official trailer out; Kareena Kapoor, Vijay Varma starrer Netflix movie promises new taste of dark thriller

Kareena Kapoor Khan is often listed as one of the most reached Bollywood actresses of all time. The lady who has engraved her cinematic span for almost two decades is now all set to make her OTT debut on Netflix. Yes, you heard it correct. Bollywood's Bebo is now all set to bring her upcoming OTT starrer movie, 'Jaane Jaan' on Netflix, this September. The makers have released the official trailer of 'Jaane Jaan' on Tuesday afternoon.

The Trailer

Starring Kareena Kapoor along with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat on the leading roles, the trailer left a deep imprint among the audience. The two minute long trailer seemed to have every ounce of the movie squeezed in it. Taking over YouTube, the official synopsis of the trailer wrote, "Every move will have to be calculated if the lines between innocence and guilt need to be blurred," followed by the date of it's premiere, "#JaaneJaan premieres 21 September only on Netflix!" 

About 'Jaane Jaan'

With some intriguing scenes embedded mindfully in the released trailer gave a sneak peek into what audience should expect from the upcoming movie. Helmed  by Sujoy Ghosh, the suspense thriller will revolve around the complex life of a single mother, a school teacher and a cop, all brought together by a mysterious murder case. As per the officials, the movie is an adaptation of Keigo Higashino's 2005 novel 'The Devotion of Suspect X' which will also feature other stars such as Saurabh Sachdeva, Karma Takapa and Lin Laishram in some pivotal roles. Produced under 12th Street Entertainment, Northern Lights Films, Kross Pictures, and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures, the movie is all set to premiere on September 21, 2023 exclusively on Netflix.

Fans Reaction

Watching Kareena Kapoor Khan backing up for such an intriguing masterpiece looking thriller, fans went over excited and shared their heartiest feelings for the star. One user wrote, "Finally, the kind of role that would justify the potential of Kareena as a great actor that she is," followed by a comment of another fan who quoted, "If the story direction is on top notch than it will be one of the best from kareena. We all knw how amazing actor she is". A third user on the other hand quoted, "Kareena Vijay Jaideep are Outstanding Actor... can't wait to See Jaane Jaan... Kareena is brilliant Actress". 

Meanwhile, speaking about their work-front, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'(2022) opposite to Aamir Khan. Apart from 'Jaane Jaan', Kareena is now prepping up for the upcoming Hansal Mehta's creation, 'The Buckingham Murders' and 'The Crew' along side Kriti Sanon and Tabu. Vijay on the other hand, was last seen in in Lust Stories 2, Dahaad and Kalkoot. The movie packed star also has 'Murder Mubarak' and 'Afghani Show' in his pipeline.
