'Mrs Undercover' movie review: Radhika Apte leaves netizens impressed with her spy-comedy
'Mrs. Undercover' movie review: Radhika Apte is yet again back to rule the OTT platform with her outstanding performance in the recently released spy-comedy 'Mrs. Undercover'. The film also features
The movie ultimately discusses how women must deal with misogyny in their daily lives. Anushree Mehta, the director of 'Mrs. Undercover', spoke exclusively to Zee English Digital about how the idea for the movie came to be and the process of developing it.
Radhika Apte plays Durga in Anushree Mehta's Mrs. Undercover. Durga is a busy housewife in Kolkata with a chauvinistic husband, crazy in-laws, and a happy son. Durga used to be an undercover spy, but she now spends time raising her family and putting up with her husband's jokes.
Radhika plays a covert agent who is enlisted by the special force to hunt down a legendary serial murderer in Anushree Mehta's film Mrs. Undercover, which she also wrote and directed. Her efforts to find the perpetrator and hold him accountable for killing innocent women are the focus of the remaining portions of the narrative. Radhika is the ideal star in Mrs. Undercover, at least on paper. She has plenty of room to develop her muscles, deliver incisive lines, and show off her comic timing. Yet since the writing is disorganized, none of this matters.
It is a highly innovative concept that is also humorous and relatable, according to Radhika Apte. We occasionally witness how our mothers or friends are treated differently only because they are housewives or are juggling both their responsibilities at home and at work.
