'Ponniyin Selvan 2' is set to release on OTT; Where to watch on OTT and it's release date

Mani Ratnam's magnum opus after a successful claim at the box office is now all set to make it's digital debut. The movie is slatted to release on OTT platform in the month of June, 2023. After 2023's 'Pathaan', the movie that has acquired most of the gossip is undoubtedly 'PS 2' for all the good reasons. People's love and demand has made the OTT platform made this possible for those who would love to see the period drama sitting from their couches. 

About 'PS 2'

The part 2 of the cinematic multiverse is based on the 1954 novel by Kalki Krishnamurthy under the same name. Meanwhile, while talking about it's storyline, the film follows the adventurous life of prine Arulmozhi Varman and his family who has to deal with strong foes to the Chola Dynasty. 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' got released in the theatres on April 28, 2023. The movie is a sequel of 2022 grandeur 'Ponniyen Selvan' that received love from people all over the globe.

Casts and Crew

Directed by Mani Ratnam, the part 2 is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah and Mani Ratnam himself. It is a Tamil language epic historical drama filled with some jaw dropping aesthetics and VFX. The movie stars a big names from the movie industry including Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi and Trishna as the movie leads including Aishwarya Lekshmi,R. Sarathkumar, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Rahman and R. Pathiban as supporting roles.

The movie has brought the Indian audiences into a whole buzz and now it's OTT release date has added the excitement a bar higher. Amazon Prime Video has got the license of streaming rights of the movie and the platform has decided to bring the flamboyant epic-drama on June 28, 2023.
