The Kashmir Files Unreported; Here's when and where to watch OTT series

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri is back with his new stellar docu-series, reportedly a sequel of his 2022 movie 'The Kashmir Files'. The movie that has dwindled community disputes and made numerous controversies and headlines in the past year feared none as it is bringing a whole new series that promises to delve in much deeper depths of the 1990 Kashmir. It will revolve around the nerve wrecking events of the past which has uprooted the lives of the Kashmiri pandits forcing them to flee away from their own homes causing a great loss and suffering. 

The Kashmir Files Unreported

The director who is well known for presenting movies on plots with deeper meaning and perspective will now be=ring in the unreported, unseen and unheard stories of one of the most politically disturbed part of the country. As per the reports, it will also showcase the real stories which are documented and boggling footages of the wrecking past. The makers of the unreported ducu-series has released their trailer nearly eight days back giving away a sneak-peek to what the show will really look like. 

Release date & OTT platform

According to the official synopsis of the upcoming television show it penned, "Once considered heaven on earth, Kashmir transformed into a war-like zone due to its political landscape. What led to the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits and the eventual removal of Article 370? Find out in The Kashmir Files: Unreported" The information was further added by it's release date. The show will premiere of August 11, 2023 only on streaming platform Zee5. 

The motto of the docu-series

As per the director, while working on the unreported version of 'The Kashmir Files' he has done a thorough research on the topic that will breakthrough many misconceptions and misleading informations that has prevailed ever since the age of massacre, 1990's. The show will challenge people's conceptualized ideals through the untold stories of the Kashmiri pandits(victims), experts and historians themselves and give away a valuable record for the future. 

Star Casts

Directed and executed by Vivek Agnihotri, the series is made with a wholesome budget of Rs. 20 crore. It's stellar cast will include the previous faces of 'The Kashmir Files' movie such as Pallavi Joshi along-with the director  who will play the role in the entire docu-series.
