Karan Aujla controversy: From cancelled shows to personal scandals a look into troublesome phase
Punjabi music sensation Karan Aujla has found himself at the center of multiple controversies for one time or the other, ranging from diss with Sidhu Moosewala to concert cancellations and fan backlash to personal allegations and industry rivalries. These incidents have sparked widespread discussion among fans and within the music industry, particularly during his “P-Pop Culture India Tour.”
This is not the first time Aujla has been involved in a public feud. He previously had a well-known rivalry with late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. The two artists engaged in a lyrical battle through their songs, exchanging indirect disses that fans dubbed a “diss war.”

The feud sparked heated debates on social media, with supporters of both artists defending their favorites. While the rivalry contributed to their popularity, it also highlighted the competitive and often contentious nature of the Punjabi music industry.
The latest development involves the cancellation of two of Aujla’s scheduled concerts in Ludhiana and Lucknow, originally set for April 10 and April 12. According to the ticketing partner, the shows were called off due to “operational and logistical challenges.” While full refunds have been promised, the sudden cancellations have disappointed fans and raised questions about tour management.

These cancellations follow closely on the heels of Aujla’s Mumbai concert on March 3, which faced significant criticism. Attendees reported overcrowding, poor event organization, and extreme heat conditions. Several fans claimed they felt unwell during the event, and concerns were raised regarding overall safety due to the massive turnout. The incident has led to scrutiny over crowd control and event planning at large-scale concerts.
Beyond professional setbacks, Aujla is also facing serious personal allegations. A Canadian artist, known online as MS Gori Music, has accused the singer of fraud and deception, claiming he hid his marital status while being in a relationship with her.
The controversy deepened when an Australian woman, DJ Swan Music, came forward with similar claims, alleging that Aujla had been communicating with her through direct messages. These accusations quickly gained traction on social media, drawing attention to Aujla’s personal life and relationships.
Amid the growing controversy, discussions have also emerged around social media activity by his wife, PalakAujla, further fueling speculation and online debate.

Adding to the turbulence is Aujla’s ongoing feud with fellow rapper YoYo Honey Singh. The conflict recently resurfaced during Honey Singh’s Delhi concert, part of his “My Story India Tour,” where he made a veiled remark referring to another artist as “6-7" a Gen-Z slang term implying mediocrity.
Although no names were mentioned, fans interpreted the comment as a dig at Aujla, especially given the competitive atmosphere between the two artists. Honey Singh also emphasized that his own shows are consistently successful, contrasting them with others he implied were average.
Aujla responded during one of his performances in Punjab, countering the remark with a statement: “It’s not 6-7, it’s 5-7 baby!” While he avoided directly naming Honey Singh, the response was widely seen as a rebuttal, further intensifying the rivalry.
