'Boohey Bariyan': Neeru Bajwa announces new Punjabi movie with all-female cast

Neeru Bajwa is currently ruling the Punjabi cinema with one after the other blockbuster hit. With the inclination of creative scripts, Punjabi filmmakers are making sure to enthrall the audience to the fullest. 

After the successful release of 'Kali Jotta' and 'Chal Jindiye', Neeru Bajwa is back to amaze her fans with the upcoming movie 'Boohey Bariyan'.

This new movie is another triumph from Chal Jindiye's writer and director. Jagdeep Warring, the film's writer, and Uday Pratap Singh, its director, collaborated on Boohey Bariyan. U&I Films, Lienniaz Entertainment, and Neeru Bajwa Entertainment are the production companies behind the movie.

The lead actress in the movie is Neeru Bajwa. In addition to Nirmal Rishi, Rubina Bajwa, Jatinder Kaur, Simone Singh, Rupinder Rupi, Gurpreet Bhangu, Seema Kaushal, Baljinder Kaur, and Dharminder Kaur, the film will feature many other accomplished performers.

The interesting thing about the film's announcement is that no male actors are mentioned in the cast list. This blatantly implies that the focus of this drama film will be on women. Having a Punjabi movie with an all-female cast will be interesting.

The movie's first poster, which depicts an ancient, rustic door as its name suggests, has just been released. The project's poster makes it clear that the movie's backdrop will be rural. The movie was filmed at a location close to Ropar and is now finished with production. The film is slated to be released on September 29, 2023.
