Kannada director SK Bhagavan passes away; details inside

SK Bhagavan news: Director of the Kannada industry breathed his last on February 20 at a hospital in Bengaluru. He was 90 years old and was suffering from some age-related ailments.

SK Bhagavan passes away

As per the reports, his body remains will be kept for the public to visit his last view at his residence.  However, SK Bhagavan and Dorai who died in the year 2000 have directed at least 27 films which have performed extremely well at the box office.

Further, most of his films had Rajkumar in a key role. Then, the director had the last directed movie Aduva Gombe which was released in the year 2019 and had Anant Nag and late actor Sanchari Vijay in major roles. Although, he was also praised for introducing James Bond-style films.

 

Furthermore, many renowned personalities have expressed their grief over the death of the director SK Bhagavan. Then, chief minister Basavaraj Bommai also expressed his grief through his social media post which read that he was saddened by the news of director SK Bhagavan’s death and also prayed to god to give strength to the family to face such harsh times.

For the unversed, the director’s blockbuster films include ‘Kasthuri Nivasa’, ‘Giri Kanye’, ‘Nanooba Kalla’, ‘Jeevana Chaithra’, ‘Yarivanu’ and many others.
