Ranbir Kapoor confirms to portray former cricketer Sourav Ganguly in his biopic? Details inside

Ranbir Kapoor in and as Sourav Ganguly biopic: Fans of the former cricketer Sourav Ganguly have been expecting his biopic for a while, and if recent rumours are to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor has been chosen to portray the 50-year-old player on screen.

A source close to the former Team India skipper has now stated that Ranbir Kapoor would play Sourav Ganguly in the biopic. There were reportedly some schedule conflicts in the past, but it appears Ranbir has given his OK today. It's interesting to note that Sourav has frequently proclaimed his adoration for Ranbir.

While Sourav's fans are obsessively speculating about who will play Sourav Ganguly onscreen, a source has also claimed that the Bollywood superstar may soon visit Kolkata to see the famous Eden Gardens, the CAB office, and even Sourav Ganguly's home before he begins filming for the eagerly awaited biopic.

Prior to that, a number of well-known actors from Bollywood, including Sidharth Malhotra and Hrithik Roshan, began to circulate on social media as rumours about the actor who would portray Ganguly in his biopic grew more speculative.

As everything is happening, Ranbir Kapoor is preparing for the release of Tu Joothi Main Makkar, which also features Shraddha Kapoor in the major role. Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar of T-Series are the producers of the Luv Ranjan-directed movie. Ranbir and Shraddha will share the screen on-screen for the first time. On Holi, March 8, 2023, TJMM will have a celebratory release in theatres all around the world.
