While Aamir Khan's much-awaited film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' is facing a downfall at the box office, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday watched the film and lauded the actor and the team for the same.

Besides, CM Mann congratulated Aamir Khan and his team on the movie as it marks Aamir's comeback to the big screens after 4 years.
Notably, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is an official Hindi adaptation of Tom Hanks-starrer iconic Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump'. The 1994-film had also managed to bag Oscar awards.

Written by Atul Kulkarni and helmed by Advait Chandan, 'Laal Singh Chaddha' features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh in key roles.
The Hindi remake of 'Forrest Gump' revolves around the life of a slow-witted but kind-hearted man named Laal (Khan). He narrates the important events of his life throughout the film. The events coincide with several historic events in India.
