R Madhavan's son Vedaant creates national junior swimming record, details inside
'Rocketry The Nambi Effect' actor R Madhavan is currently on cloud nine as his son Vedaant Madhavan has made him even more proud by creating a national junior swimming record
R Madhavan's son Vedaant Madhavan entered record books as he set a new national record in swimming at the 48th Junior National Aquatic Championships.

The 16-year-old athlete broke Advait Page's 2017 record of 16:06.43 seconds in 1500m freestyle event in 16:01.73 seconds. He bagged gold medal for the same.

'Rocketry The Nambi Effect' actor took to his Twitter account and cheered for his talented son. Taking to Twitter, he shared a video from the event along with a caption that reads, “Never say never. National Junior Record for 1500m freestyle broken.”

R Madhavan has always been a supporting hand for his son Vedaant. The actor also urged his fans to watch his son perform at the Junior National Aquatic Championships, sharing a YouTube link.
“48th Junior National Aquatic Championship 2022 (Final) Vedaant at the 1500m Junior National finals . Live NOW . pls watch,” Madhavan had written.

Madhavan kept sharing updates regarding the competition. He had also tweeted, “With the Grace of god and all your blessing Vedaant @VedaantMadhavan breaks his 1st meet record of the 1500 m free style at the National Junior aquatic meet.”
Well, this is not for the first time when Vedaant made his parents proud. Earlier, Vedaant had bagged a gold medal in April in the men's 800m freestyle at the Danish Open in Copenhagen.
