Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor joined by Alia Bhatt for Rishi Kapoor's final film 'Sharmaji Namkeen'

In honor of the late brilliant actor Rishi Kapoor, the producers of Sharmaji Namkeen arranged a special screening for the Kapoor family.

Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Randhir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan, and Aadar Jain were among the guests.

Sharmaji Namkeen has been getting attention for a long time because it is Rishi Kapoor's final film. Sharmaji Namkeen stars Paresh Rawal, Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha, and Isha Talwar and is directed by Hitesh Bhatia and produced by Excel Entertainment in collaboration with MacGuffin Pictures.

Following a two-year struggle with leukemia, Rishi Kapoor died in April 2020 at the age of 67. Following his untimely death, the film's producers enlisted actor Paresh Rawal to finish the remaining scenes, marking the first time two actors played the same part in a single film.

Riddhima took to Instagram after screening the film, which will have an OTT debut on March 31, to memorialize her father, who died in April 2020 after a two-year struggle with cancer.

Riddhima devoted a post to the late performer and her father and wrote,

The film follows Rishi and Paresh as a recently retired man who discovers his passion for cooking after joining a rowdy women's kitty circle.
