Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring Alia Bhatt-Ranveer Singh gets a release date

Fans of movies and television are in for a treat today. While weddings abound in Telly Town, new film announcements and song releases have kept the stars on the big screen busy. 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' is Karan Johar's first film as a director in five years, following 'Ae Dil Hain Mushkil.'

Earlier on Monday morning, pictures of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt surfaced on the internet as they were shooting in Qutub Minar in New Delhi.  Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt can be seen posing in one of the film's dramatic sequences in the leaked photos.

Now, the makers have announced the release date of the film 'Rocky Aur Rani' in the most unique way. On February 10, 2023, the film will be released in theatres. The announcement was accompanied by a video montage of behind-the-scenes footage.

Karan Johar who is known for his unique way of announcements took to his social media and wrote, "After 7 long years, it gives me such joy and gratitude to be here and announcing that my next #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani, a love story at its heart with the soul of family values - is releasing on 10th February 2023. See you in cinemas with an abundance of entertainment that we are getting ready for you!"

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani also stars Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra in pivotal roles in addition to Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios.
