Singer Zayn Malik and supermodel Gigi Hadid have reportedly split up
Popular couple Gigi Hadid and singer Zayn Malik are no longer together as they have broken up. According to Gigi's family friend, the couple is no longer together but will continue to co-parent their 13-month-old daughter Khai Hadid Malik.
The couple is no longer together, according to several sources. "Right now, they are not together. They are both good parents, however," a magazine source said. Meanwhile, Gigi's representatives told the publication, "Gigi is solely concerned with Khai's well-being." During this time, she requests privacy."

Zayn issued a statement on Twitter about a "private matter" hours before the report of their break-up surfaced.
He confirmed that he agreed not to contest claims relating to an argument he had with a member of Hadid's family (her mother, Yolanda Hadid, according to reports) a few weeks ago while his partner was away. "This was and still should be a private matter...," he said.

The statement issued by Zayn Malik also mentioned " This was and still should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow for me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been "leaked" to the press. I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves."
