Taapsee Pannu talks about working with Shah Rukh Khan: Taapsee Pannu starring 'Shabash Mithu' is all set to release in theaters on July 15. The film is based on the life of Indian cricketer Mithali Raj. Besides, this, Taapsee will be seen sharing the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan in Rajkumar Hirani's next 'Dunki'.
In conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Taapseee Pannu talked about her co-star Shah Rukh Khan and revealed how much motivation she received from the actor.
Talking about the way SRK treats his co-actors, Taapsee Pannu quoted, "The kind of respect and the love he shows to his co-actor, respect most importantly can truly ruin your habit."
Taapsee also revealed that, far before it became fashionable, she had actually noticed how female actors were given first credits in his movies. "I noticed that as an audience and which is very different to notice. Most of my films end up being driven by my characters so I end up getting the first credit. It happened long back that Shah Rukh sir started doing it. So it was quite a thing to notice it happening in a Shah Rukh Khan film," she added.
She further said, “He can really spoil your habit, like my expectation levels of ‘treatment’ might just get too high."
For the unversed, Taapsee Pannu have previously worked with Shah Rukh Khan;s Red Chillies Entertainment for the film 'Badla' also starring Amitabh Bachchan.
Now, Taapsee will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time with Shah Rukh Khan which was one of her greatest desires. Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu are roped for Rajkumar Hiran's next directorial 'Dunki' which is slated to hit theaters on December 22, 2023.
In the meantime, Taapsee Pannu is currently awaiting the release of her sports drama 'Shabaash Mithu' which will be released in theaters on July 15.
