Thackeray: Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Amrita Rao's Movie, Set To Release On 23rd Jan

Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Amrita Rao starrer, 'Thackeray' has been making news ever since it's announcement. Directed by Abhijeet Panse, the movie is set to release on 23rd January.

The cast and the crew were seen at the music launch of the movie on 12th January.

The movie is based on the life of Bal Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena; which is played by Nawazuddin. Amrita Rao is playing the role of  Bal Thackeray's wife, Meena Tai Thackeray.

The movie will mark as Amrita's comeback film after she was last seen in 'Jolly LLB' and 'Singh Saab The Great' in 2013. Nawazuddin Siddiqui was last seen in 'Manto', where his performance was praised by the audience. The film is directed by Abhijit Panse and has been written by Shiv Sena politician Sanjay Raut.
