'Thank you Messi for...' writes Shah Rukh Khan after Argentina's landmark FIFA WC win

Shah Rukh Khan after Argentina's FIFA World Cup: Argentina defeated France in yesterday's match, wrapping up one of the most exciting FIFA World Cup finals in history. This victory sparked joy around the globe as it served as the ideal send-off for football star Lionel Messi, who was anticipated to retire after this game. In the meantime, Shah Rukh Khan expressed his gratitude to Lionel Messi for the historic victory.

In a historical final on December 18, Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, defeated France 4-2 on penalties after the two teams were knotted at 3-3 after 90 minutes of play and even managed to score one goal each in extra time. Kylian Mbappé scored a hat-trick in the final for France, but he was unable to help his nation win the prized FIFA trophy.

Following the incredible victory, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted, "We are living in the time of one of the best World Cup Finals ever. I remember watching WC with my mom on a small tv….now the same excitement with my kids!! And thank u #Messi for making us all believe in talent, hard work & dreams!!"

To promote his eagerly awaited next film Pathaan, the actor attended the FIFA World Cup 2022. The trophy was unveiled prior to the Finals by Deepika Padukone, who also appears in Pathaan.

In addition to this, several videos of King Khan teaching former footballer Wayne Rooney his signature step went viral on the internet.
