The Janjot Singh directorial is a sequel to 2019 film ‘Chal Mera Putt’, produced by Karaj Gill under Rhythm Boyz Entertainment and by Ashu Munish Sahni under Omjee Star Studios.

Apart from Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal, the film will have popular singer Garry Sandhu in the lead role too. Garry will mark his comeback in the Punjabi cinema after six years with his last film ‘Romeo Ranjha’ in 2014. Garry is coming back with full swag, portraying a love – triangle angle in the film.

‘Chal Mera Putt’ was a film based on the life and struggle faced by Indians who try to make a living in a foreign land. The sequel is also expected to be on the similar lines, going by the trailer of the film.

The first part, ‘Chal Mera Putt’ was a blockbuster hit film. While the film opened with great numbers in Australia and New Zealand, it had a record opening for Punjabi films in Australia for the year. The film became highest-grossing Punjabi film in Australia, Gulf States, and second-highest in United Kingdom and New Zealand.
Amrinder Gill – Simi Chahal Duo
The great thing about this film is that it has the same cast as of the previous one with minor additions to the team. However, besides every other factor, the film’s lead pair garnered immense love from the audience. Amrinder, who portrayed the role of calm and poised ‘Jinder’ was beautifully paired opposite Bubbly ‘Savy’. This time again the two will have a cute chemistry with each other, making the audience fall for each other.
Pakistani Collaboration
What made the audience love the first part was the fact that this movie has three of the best Punjabi comics of Pakistani entertainment industry. The sequel too will have those Pakistani artists. Apparently, the film is bridging the gap between the two nations by bringing the entertainment industry closer.
