Kota Factory BTS: The highly anticipated third season of "Kota Factory," the hit television series from The Viral Fever, is creating a buzz that is now available on Netflix. Starring Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ahsaas Channa, Ranjan Raj, Alam Khan, and Revathi Pillai, the series has garnered a significant following for its unique portrayal of the lives of JEE aspirants.
In an interesting revelation, it was disclosed that the creators of "Kota Factory" had to install fake cameras on set to ensure a smooth filming process. This intriguing behind-the-scenes detail was shared by actor Ranjan Raj, who plays Balmukund Meena in the series, during an interview with comedians Tanmay Bhat, Biswa Kalyan Rath, and Rohan Joshi for Netflix India.
Ranjan Raj explained, “Abhi Kota Factory itna famous ho gaya hai, toh bachche bahot aate hain shoot ke aaspas jaise hi pata chalta hai yahan shoot chal raha hai. Toh humein fake camera bhi lagaane padte hain kabhi kabhi.” This translates to: "Now that Kota Factory has become so famous, many children gather around the shooting location as soon as they find out filming is happening. So, we sometimes have to install fake cameras."
He recounted how the crowd’s attention was diverted to a decoy camera, allowing the crew to film critical scenes with the actual cameras placed discreetly. Alam Khan, who plays Uday Gupta, further elaborated on their strategy, mentioning that they staged a "fake shooting" to keep the audience engaged while the real filming took place elsewhere.
The excitement surrounding "Kota Factory" remains high, with the show landing on Netflix’s global ranking of trending series. Known for its monochrome depiction of the intense and competitive world of JEE aspirants, the series has captivated audiences since its first season.
