Sanjay Dutt Treats Fans With Intriguing First Look from 'KD – The Devil' on His 65th Birthday
Veteran actor Sanjay Dutt, known for his remarkable contributions to Indian cinema, continues to captivate audiences with his diverse roles and performances. On the occasion of his 65th birthday, Dutt surprised fans by revealing the first look of his character, Dhak Deva, from the highly anticipated film KD – The Devil.
The teaser poster, unveiled on July 29, provides a glimpse into Dutt's character with a vintage flair that hints at the depth and complexity of his role. The film, directed by Prem, is described as a significant addition to Dutt's illustrious career, and the first look has already generated considerable excitement among fans and critics alike.
Director Prem expressed his gratitude for having Dutt on board, stating, "Who doesn’t know the mammothness of Sanjay Dutt in the film industry? He comes with so many impactful roles. His Munnabhai is still celebrated so much. I feel very thankful and blessed that he agreed to do this film, and it was a pleasure working with him."
KD – The Devil is a period action entertainer set against the backdrop of 1970s Bangalore. The film, which is presented by KVN Productions, also features Shilpa Shetty, Nora Fatehi, Ramesh Aravind, V Ravichandran, and Dhruva Sarja in pivotal roles. The plot is rumored to be based on true events, centering around a notorious gangster’s return from prison and his subsequent war against rival gangsters in Bangalore.
The multilingual film, set to release in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi, is expected to hit theaters in December this year, though an official release date has yet to be announced. Arjun Janya has been roped in to compose the music for the film.
In addition to KD – The Devil, Sanjay Dutt will soon be seen reuniting with Raveena Tandon in the film Ghudchadi, which also stars Khushalii Kumar and Parth Samthaan. Ghudchadi is slated to premiere on the OTT platform JioCinema on August 9.
Moreover, Dutt has been confirmed to be part of the ensemble cast of the upcoming project by Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar, which also features R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal. Additionally, he has joined the cast of the eagerly awaited Housefull 5.
With such a diverse lineup of projects, Sanjay Dutt continues to demonstrate his versatility and enduring appeal in Indian cinema.
