TV actress Nishi Singh dies a day after her 50th birthday

Nishi Singh death news: TV actor Nishi Singh, who was part of several shows like 'Ishqbaaaz', 'Qubool Hai' and 'Tenali Rama', passed away on Sunday at the age of 50. Nishi Singh had celebrated her 50th birthday just a day before she died.

According to information, Nishi Singh had suffered three strokes of paralysis in the last few years. Nishi is survived by her husband, writer-actor Sanjay Singh Bhadli, and their two children.

It is pertinent to mention that the family has been facing financial issues. Earlier, the family had requested monetary help to pay Nishi’s medical bills.

In the meanwhile, Nishi Singh's husband confirmed the actress' death and the news saddened her fans.

Her husband said that her health deteriorated after suffering the third stroke of paralysis in May this year. Reportedly, Nishi was battling multiple health issues. She was taken to a hospital on Saturday after she complained of uneasiness.

He said that the biggest irony was that they had celebrated her 50th birthday on September 16. Nishi looked very happy even though she was not able to say anything, he added.

He also revealed that their 18-year-old daughter had quit her studies and was not able to give her board exams as she was helping him take care of her mother.

Due to the mounting medical bills, Nishi's husband was not able to take up any work as he had to stay at home to take care of his wife. He further said that despite help from some of their colleagues and CINTAA, he was forced to sell his house and car to take care of the expenses.

“Ab toh sab khatam ho gaya,” he said.
