Veteran actor Rasik Dave dies at the age of 65; here's how he died

Rasik Dave death news: Veteran actor Rasik Dave passed away on Friday in Mumbai at the age of 65. Rasik was married to actor Ketki Dave.

According to information, the actor Rasik Dave's last rites would likely be held on Sunday.  Soon after the news of actor Rasik Dave's death surfaced on social media, his fans were shocked and wanted to know how he died.

Reportedly, Rasik Dave died due to kidney failure. The actor was reportedly on dialysis for the last two years. As per the report, he also suffered kidney-related ailments while his last one month was very painful as his condition deteriorated.

In his entire career, Rasik did several Gujarati dramas and Gujarati films besides Hindi TV shows.

Notably, Rasik and her wife Ketki Dave reportedly owned a Gujarati theatre company. The actor started his career in 1982 with a Gujarati film titled Putra Vadhu.

He was known for portraying Karsandas Dhansukhlal Vaishnav in 'Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki'. Prominently, he also essayed the role of 'Nand' in the epic TV series 'Mahabharat', which aired in the 1980s.

Rasik and Ketki also appeared in a dancing reality show, Nach Baliye, in 2006.
