Hema Malini's Daughters Esha and Ahana Rally Support in Mathura Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2024

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Mathura witnessed a special visit on Saturday as Esha and Ahana Deol, daughters of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Hema Malini, arrived in the city. Their purpose? To connect with the youth and rally support for their mother in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Their journey commenced at the revered Banke Bihari Temple, where they paid homage to Lord Banke Bihari Ji, seeking divine blessings. During their temple visit, the temple priest, Abhilash Goswami, presented them with sacred cloth and 'prasad,' signifying the blessings of the deity.

Esha Deol expressed admiration for the development initiatives in Mathura and Vrindavan. "There's so much to say about Mathura," she remarked. "It feels so good here. And the special thing is that along with development, you all have taken care of Vrindavan's alleys, its heritage, you've preserved it well."

Esha also conveyed confidence in her mother's electoral victory, emphasizing the overwhelming support from the residents of Mathura. "There are so many supporters here who are the residents of Mathura. They want my mother to stay here and win the election from here. They want her to do much more, and it's because of their support that my mom can do all this. So, their support is important," she asserted.

After their temple visit, Esha and Ahana are scheduled to engage with students in colleges and universities across Mathura, further bolstering support for Hema Malini.

Hema Malini, a stalwart of the BJP, has been nominated for the Mathura Lok Sabha seat for the third consecutive time. Mathura, historically a BJP stronghold from 1991 to 1999, saw a brief stint under Congress in 2004, followed by RLD's Jayant Chaudhary's tenure in 2009. However, in 2014, Hema Malini reclaimed the seat for the BJP and repeated her success in the 2019 elections, supported by her husband, actor Dharmendra, and the government's welfare schemes.

Uttar Pradesh, with its significant 80 parliamentary seats, is gearing up for voting across seven phases. Mathura is set to cast its votes in the second phase on April 26th. The elections hold immense significance not just for Mathura but for the entire state, shaping the political landscape of the nation.
