Ranveer Singh Raises Alarm on Deepfake Menace Amid Viral AI Video
Ranveer Singh recently found himself surrounded by a digital deception known as deepfakes, just after fellow superstar Aamir Khan was surrounded. A deepfake video surfaced online, purportedly showcasing Ranveer expressing political views. However, investigations revealed that the video was a product of artificial intelligence, utilizing a clone of the actor's voice.
The video, seemingly genuine in its depiction of Ranveer during a visit to Varanasi, actually featured AI-generated audio, mimicking the actor's voice. During his trip to the ancient city, Ranveer praised the improvements in public infrastructure and shared his spiritual experience.

Amidst these digital disturbances, Ranveer continues his professional endeavours. He is set to reprise his role as Simmba in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again,' alongside an ensemble cast including his wife Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Additionally, Ranveer will lead in Farhan Akhtar's 'Don 3,' slated for a 2025 release.
In announcing 'Don 3,' Farhan Akhtar emphasized the legacy of the character, originally portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan and later reimagined by Shah Rukh Khan. Acknowledging Ranveer's talent and versatility, Farhan appealed to the audience to extend the same love to the new installment as they did to its predecessors.
