Virat Kohli turns secret Santa for underprivileged kids: Old Christmas Video goes viral

In Kolkata Indian test skipper Virat Kohli turned ‘Secret Santa’ for the children at a Shelter home in the year 2019. Undoubtedly Virat is one of the most adored Sportsperson in India and his old video in 2019 is going viral on the Internet for giving kids a treasured moment for life.

As everyone around the globe is celebrating Christmas on Saturday, a special moment of Kohli ringing in as Santa Claus for the unprivileged kids of a shelter home is spreading smiles once again.

For the shelter home kids, Kohli dressed up as Santa with a white beard and a big belly.

He was there in the shelter home of Kolkata giving them something to treasure for life. The sweet gesture of Kohli for the kids was captured in a video and has been shared by Star Sports on their social handles. Because it is Christmas the old video of 2019 has been shared by the channel reminding the Indian test skipper’s sweet gesture to make someone’s moment special.

After Kohli, the secret Santa gives everyone gifts, he then asks them if he wants to meet Virat Kohli as Superman and Spiderman are on a vacation. In response to that, Kids loudly cheer Yes in a chorus, and welcome Virat Kohli as he removes his beard and hat.

Welcoming such a beautiful surprise, children were elated to see him and interact with him for a while celebrating the occasion of Christmas.

Currently, Virat is in South Africa playing three-match Test series and a three-match ODI match against the Proteas.

On the Boxing Day at the Supersport Park in Centurion, the test series will start off marking Virat’s first tour for India under Rahul Dravid, the head coach.

From 3rd Jan to 7th Jan, the second test of the series will take place at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg.  The series will come to an end with the Newlands Test in Cape Town, from 11th January to 15th January.

Post the test series, Rohit Sharma’s first assignment as ODI skipper of Indian will be marked with India facing the Proteas in a three-match ODI Series. On 8th December, Virat Kohli was taken down from the captaincy role of India with Rohit Sharma given the completed white ball duties.
