Andrew Symonds Death: In a shocking piece of news, Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds died in a car crash outside Townsville in Queensland State on Saturday. Meanwhile, Andrew Symonds’ video of Bigg Boss 5 stint, in which he proposed Pooja Mishra, is going viral on social media.

Several Bollywood celebrities including Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, and Rahul Bose expressed grief at the loss of the 46-year-old Australian cricket legend.

Andrew Symonds established his name across the world and each and every bowler from around the corner used to feel nervous when he used to bat.

However, very few people know that Symonds had entered the world of Indian entertainment as well. Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds had participated in Bigg Boss 5 and during his stint, he proposed Pooja Misrra.

While Andrew Symonds performed all his tasks to perfection, one of the tasks had Andrew proposing to Pooja. Amar Upadhyay had taught Andrew some Bollywood dialogues to propose to Pooja.

Andrew approached Pooja who was ‘jailed’ inside the house and said "Chand mera dil, chandni ho tum..." Adding, he said, "Iss nacheez ke haatho se ye phool karo kabool".

In response, Pooja thanked him and even kissed him on his cheek. "Chandni mai teri Chandni, " Pooja said as Andrew walked away with his friends.

It may be recalled that the late cricketer also worked in Bollywood. Remember Patiala House?  Andrew featured in the 2011 sports drama ‘Patiala House’ starring Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma in lead roles.
