Yami Gautam Dhar has 'fan-girl' moment as she meets her inspiration Dr. Kiran Bedi

Yami Gautam-Kiran Bedi: Bollywood actress Yami Gautam was ecstatic to meet her biggest inspiration Former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry Kiran Bedi.

As Yami had a fan-girl moment when she met Kiran Bedi, she received a lot of appreciation for her role as IPS Jyoti Deswal in Dasvi. Taking to the social media account, Yami Gautam disclosed about her happiness on meeting Kiran Bedi.

For the unversed, recently Yami graced the Goa Festival in a stunning white ensemble. Her biggest triumph was meeting Kiran Bedi, the former lieutenant governor of Puducherry. She was overwhelmed with appreciation when she shared a post on Instagram and wrote a touching remark.

Yami only had nice things to say about how great it was to meet Kiran Bedi and get the opportunity to speak with her.

In her long note, Yami wrote, "My fan-girl moment with one of my strongest inspirations since I was a little girl growing up in Chandigarh! I shall never forget how an already well planned city transformed further for the best, when ma’am got posted there !"

"Door to door cops used to visit every home & ensure our safety! Strict night patrolling was introduced even in the most remotest parts of the city ! It was truly an honour meeting Dr Bedi yesterday at #goafest2022" Yami further stated.

It was a memorable occasion when real-life lieutenant Kiran Bedi met the fictional lieutenant Yami Gautam, who played IPS Jyoti Deswal in Daswi and captivated hearts with her sincere portrayal.
