20 years of K3G: Karan Johar shares his emotions and feelings attached to the film

One of Hindi cinema's most memorable films, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, celebrates its 20th year today. Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukerji, Farida Jalal, Johnny Lever, Achala Sachdev, and Sushma Seth starred in the film, which was released on the 14th of December.

The film, directed by Karan Johar, lifted him to new heights and established his place amongst Bollywood's finest directors.

On the occasion of the film's ten-year anniversary, the director took us down memory lane and expressed his thoughts and feelings about it. Karan presented some of the film's most popular stills, as well as behind-the-scenes stills, with his voice-over. He added that the film became a part of pop culture because the sentences grew commonplace and the scenes were well-crafted.

Karan also discussed the major problems he experienced while directing such a talented team in the film was to justify them all. "The icons that I was bringing together on celluloid Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan - the living legends and the eternal duo Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol - who are dearest to my heart since my very first film. And the trendsetters of that era Hrithik and Kareena and even today," Karan added.

He not only complimented the celebrity cast, but he also praised and thanked everyone involved in the production, without whom the movie would not have been finished.

The video was concluded on a heartfelt note which included an old clip of Karan Johar’s father late Yash Johar where he states that the caption of the film which Karan gave to the film “It's All About Loving your parents”; I believe this is a precious gift which I haven’t received in my entire life from anyone.
