67 National Film Awards: B Praak wins the title of ‘Best Male Playback Singer’

The winners of 67th National Film Awards were announced and guess what, B Praak wins the title for ‘Best Male Playback Singer’ for his song ‘Teri Mitti’. Heart-melting lyrics, wonderful composition and B Praak voice is the icing on the cake that made the song a super hit number. ‘Teri Mitti’ is from Aksay Kumar’s movie ‘Kesari’ that was released in 2019 and was based on the ‘Battle of Saragarhi’.

Akshay Kumar played the role of havildar Ishar Singh along with many other spectacular actors. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film garnered much appreciation from the audience. Song ‘Teri Mitti’ also remarked B Praak Bollywood debut as a singer. Going by the other details, it was written by Manoj Muntashirand the music was composed by Arko.

In an interview, B Praak revealed that, he was grateful to have worked with Akshay Kumar. This is why, after ‘Teri Mitti’ B Praak again worked with Aksahy Kumar for his super hit single ‘Filhal’ and ‘Maana Dil’ from the movie ‘Good Newz’.
