Actor Ranveer Singh, who is all set to sway his fans as cricketer Kapil Dev in his upcoming film ‘83’ has been sharing character posters of his team on social media. The actor has just now shared the poster of our very favourite singer, Harrdy Sandhu as bowler Madan Lal. Harrdy Sandhu is seen bowling furiously in the poster, sharing his side profile to the fans. As Ranveer Singh presented Harrdy with the caption: “PUNJAB DA GABRU VEER !!! ?? Presenting @harrdysandhu as the Dynamic MADAN LAL!!! ??”

The ‘Backbone’ fame singer also took to his Instagram handle to share the same poster, but penned down an emotional time going down the memory lane of his cricket history. While most of his fans know that he has played cricket with India’s ‘Under 19’ team, not many of them know that cricket was always his first love. Harrdy wrote: “Not a lot of you who know me, know that I have played First Class Cricket for Punjab and Under 19’s for India. I’ve played cricket for more than 10 years of my life and Cricket was always my first love. Always wanted to play for the country and wear the Indian Jersey. Circumstances were such that due to injuries, I couldn’t. Life has played a full circle for me, what I couldn’t do in real life doing that for my debut in Bollywood. Grateful for this opportunity to be playing the character of a legend - Madan Lal Sir. #ThisIs83 @ranveersingh @kabirkhankk @deepikapadukone @sarkarshibasish @mantenamadhu #SajidNadiadwala @vishnuinduri @ipritamofficial @reliance.entertainment @fuhsephantom @nadiadwalagrandson @vibrimedia @zeemusiccompany @pvrpictures @83thefilm”
