Many things that would have rotted away in the hallways of oblivion are suddenly "brought back" to the fore owing to social media. A vintage Pepsi ad featuring Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, Mahima Chaudhry, and even a peek of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the most recent addition to this list. A fresh-faced Aamir can be seen competing for Mahima's attention in the commercial, going to great efforts to get her a bottle of the soft drink. It triggered a rush of recollections for Twitter users, who swamped the microblogging platform with memories from the 1990s and childhood in general.
The Twitter user who shared the ad commented, "Only 90's Kids will remember this famous Pepsi Ad featuring Aamir Khan, Mahima Chaudhry, and Aishwarya Rai."

Some individuals claimed that the Aamir Khan advertisement was a replica of a Michael J Fox commercial, while others claimed to have seen a Jackie Chan version of it.
A replica of another vintage ad recently went viral on social media. Cadbury Dairy Milk India remade one of their iconic ads, but this time with the goal of challenging gender stereotypes. It elicited memories and reactions from a wide range of people. While some thought it was admirable, others waxed poetic about an older advertisement from 1993.
Talking about the original commercial, a male cricketer manages to concentrate on the pitch while his lady love waits in the stands with a Chocolate. She performs a victory dance in the end while eluding security to get access to the field. “Join Cadbury Dairy Milk in celebrating and applauding for our females who are creating outstanding success stories and emerging as powerful role models for the youth,” reads the caption for the new ad. The plot is the same, but the player and the beau's genders are reversed.
Soon after the ad was posted it went viral where many people also commented.
"Mahima was then known as Ritu Chaudhary. I believe Aishwarya wasn't crowned Miss India until then."
"This is something I'll never forget. Aishwarya and Mahima in their pre-acting days. And Aamir all the way... the 1980s and 1990s were the finest... After the 1983 World Cup, I recall the Thumbsup flash campaign with Indian and West Indian cricketers."
"Sanju was a delightful surprise."
