The release date for Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha has been pushed back. The creators also presented a new poster.
Laal Singh Chaddha, the much-anticipated upcoming comedy-drama film starring Aamir Khan, has finally been given a release date. The Advait Chandan-directed film will be released during Baisakhi, the spring harvest festival, on April 14, 2021. Along with the announcement of the release date, the filmmakers also published a new poster.
With this release date, the film will compete with K.G.F: Chapter 2, another highly anticipated film starring Yash and Sanjay Dutt. Clearly, moviegoers throughout the country will be spoiled for choice on that weekend. This also sets up a titanic box office clash between Aamir and Yash - two superstars and established box office attractions.
Laal Singh Chaddha, which also stars Kareena Kapoor, is a Hindi remake of Robert Zemeckis' Forrest Gump, the multi-award-winning Tom Hanks film that was based on Winston Groom's eponymous 1986 novel.
