Actor Shriya Saran speaks on why she kept her pregnancy news hidden

Shriya Saran news: Actress Shriya Saran has been receiving huge appreciation for her film 'Drishyam 2'. In the meantime, the actress recently spilled a bean about motherhood and her daughter Radha.

Shriya Saran who is married to Andrei Koscheev for more than 4 years now revealed that there was a 'special' reason for not announcing her pregnancy on social media.

Recently in an interview, the actress stated that the major reason for not mentioning her pregnancy was that she wanted to enjoy her special time and spend ample full of time with herself and her daughter Radha. She added that she wanted to embrace the journey of her pregnancy and not worry about what people think of her bodily changes. She wanted to be like a free bird who does not worry about anything.

In addition to this, the ‘Drishyam’ actress revealed the other reason for hiding her pregnancy was societal pressure she might face to work. Thus, she opted to keep her pregnancy news under the wraps.

During her pregnancy period, she was still working and she had signed three films. However, when daughter Radha was nine- months old, Shriya Saran decided to return to her original form so she lost weight and made a solid comeback to the industry.

In the meantime, fans are excited about her upcoming Kannada movie 'Kabzaa' which will be released in 2023.
