Actors Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor share their mental health issues

Shah Rukh and Shahid on mental health news: Mental health is a topic that is not talked about much in India, as it seems less important to the people but the Bollywood celebrities never shy away to talk about the same.

Several celebrities have discussed how they have struggled with their mental health and have also been an inspiration for many after they have been vocal about the issue.

Now, talking about the actors who have openly shared their experiences on mental health. The 'King Khan' of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan who has it all also went through this phase.

In an interview, Shah Rukh Khan stated when he had a round of surgeries due to a shoulder injury, he went into a depression zone. In addition to Shah Rukh Khan, director Karan Johar also expressed about his mental health issues. While addressing Karan revealed that there was a phase when he was depressed and went for therapy and at a certain point he felt like he was going to get cardiac arrest also.

Another actor Shahid Kapoor also added that heartbreak was a hazardous phase in his life after he suffered from clinical depression. Similarly, cricketer, Suresh Raina claimed to have had suicidal thoughts when he found that it was difficult to cope in the sports hostel.

Meanwhile, actor Amit Sadh also revealed that he attempted suicide nearly about four times when he was a teenager.

The topic 'Mental Health is quite a sensitive issue and should be discussed in every household so that people going through this phase can discuss it with their family and friends. This would not only help them to fight against mental health but also will make them feel loved and wanted among others.
