Ajay Devgn takes up the role of 'Chanakya' in upcoming period drama film

Ajay Devgn is one of the finest actors in the Hindi Film Industry whose caliber and talent has undoubtedly made place in the hearts of people over the years. On the other hand Neeraj Pandey, is one such film director who brings out the best of actors.

The two very talented names are now collaborating for one big project. The two, earlier in 2018 did announce their maiden collaboration, Chankaya which is going to be a period drama film. In the film Ajay Devgn is expected to be seen in a titular role, which is likely to go floor by the end of this year.

The film was scheduled to go on floors by 2020, but following the pandemic film is in the last draft for now.Talking about the story of Chankya, Neeraj has shared, “It can’t be explained, you will have to see and get the nature of what we are attempting over here. It is very difficult to put it in words as to this is how I am going to make Chanakya. There is a team that has been working on it for last two years. We have followed a process for a couple of years and the process is very shortly going to translate on the screen.”

At the moment, Ajay Devgn is busy with his directorial, ‘May Day’ which is been shot in Mumbai with Amitabh Bachchan.
