Ajay Devgn's directorial MayDay is now Runway 34 starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet

Ajay Devgn's forthcoming directorial MayDay has been renamed Runway 34, according to the actor. The 'high-octane' thriller also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh along with the director Ajay Devgn.

The director and also the lead of the film Ajay shared the first glimpse of Amitabh Bachchan Rakul Preet Singh, and himself on Instagram. “MayDay is now Runway 34. A high-octane thriller inspired by true events that are special to me, for reasons more than one.” With the post, he also announced that the film will be in theaters on April 29, 2022.

MayDay now Runway 34 is ‘Inspired by True events’ as quoted by Ajay also making it a reason for him to do the film.

The film star cast includes other actors as well including Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet, Carry Minati, Boman Irani, Angira Dhar, Aakanksha Singh, and a few others.

This is going to be the third film Ajay Devgn is going to direct after Shivaay and U Me Aur Hum. Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay have worked together before as well in films Khakee and Satyagraha but for the first time, Big B will work in the directorial venture of Ajay.

Bhuj: The Pride of India was the last project of Ajay Devgn while Maidaan and RRR are his upcoming projects.
