Akshay Kumar Vs Aamir Khan: On June 16, Akshay Kumar took to his social media and announced the release date of his much awaited film 'Raksha Bandhan'. The film which also stars Bhumi Pednekar is all about 'bondings' and 'feelings' as defined by the Attrangi Re actor.

Sharing the intriguing teaser of the film 'Raksha Bandhan' Akshay Kumar made everyone excited for the film.

Raksha Bandhan will be released in theatres on August 11, as originally announced. Anand L Rai, with whom Akshay previously worked in Attrangi Re, is directing the film. It will also be Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar's second collaboration following the massive success of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.

While fans are delighted to see Akshay Kumar's 'Raksha Bandhan,' moviegoers are divided between Akshay and Aamir Khan, as Aamir Khan's film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' is due to debut on the same day as Akshay's Raksha Bandhan on August 11.

Aamir's film, which is a Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump, will be released on August 11.

'Laal Singh Chaddha' was earlier supposed to be released in April, but it was pushed back. To prevent clashing with Yash's 'KGF: Chapter 2', the film was postponed. Since both films will be released on August 11, it will be interesting to see how they do at the box office respectively.

It'll be a massive clash at the box office, with Akshay also releasing on the same day. Well, it is now worth noticing that whether Akshay Kumar would avoid clash or take risk with the film's class at the box office.
