Akshay Kumar will shoot for 'OMG 2' without Paresh Rawal. Know the reason here
Following years of conjecture, Akshay Kumar will begin filming for the OMG: 'Oh My God!' sequel in October. The film, which also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam, will be shot by Akshay Kumar in 20 days. While it had been speculated for the last decade that Paresh Rawal would helm the sequel in the same manner as the original, the news that Pankaj Tripathi would be involved startled everyone.

When we inquired about Paresh's departure from the film, a source in the business told Bollywood Hungama, "Oh My God 2! was undoubtedly Paresh's first choice. in reality, the creators had begun to talk with him. The actor, however, claimed that he deserved more money than his market value because he was the primary actor in the original film and a big contributor to its success. The producers, on the other hand, believed that paying more would throw the budget into disarray."

In the film, Paresh also proposed a profit-sharing deal which eventually didn't work as many producers were involved in the project. After repeated attempts too, the agreement didn’t work due to the monetary issue which made Paresh Rawal part ways from the film and the arrival of Pankaj Tripathi.
