Alia Bhatt didn't break Covid quarantine rules while traveling for Brahmastra promotions: states BMC official

Several celebs from B-Town have tested positive for COVID-19 in the middle of the third wave scare in India and the rising number of Omicron cases. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Seema Khan, and Shanaya Kapoor all tested positive for Covid-19 recently; as per the reports they all were infected at a Karan Johar-hosted party to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Alia Bhatt was also there at the gathering, in addition to all of them. KJo, his family, and Bhatt, on the other hand, did not test positive for Covid-19 Despite this, Alia was placed on a 14-day quarantine, but she had to travel to Delhi for the launch of her upcoming movie 'Brahmastra's motion poster.

According to reports, BMC officials contacted Alia Bhatt's manager and recommended her to quarantine in Delhi after learning of her visit. However, following the promotion of her new film Brahmastra, the star returned to Mumbai late Wednesday night. BMC was expected to take action, according to reports. However, a senior BMC official stated that Alia had not broken any quarantine rules by traveling to Delhi.

He informed PTI that she had a negative COVID-19 test report and was not under quarantine when she arrived in Delhi. “No action is warranted if she has traveled with a negative COVID-19 report," the official stated, denying accusations in the media that she had broken COVID-19 standards.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were the centers of attraction after releasing the motion poster for their highly anticipated flick Brahmastra. On September 9, 2022, the film Brahmastra will be released which is directed by Ayaan Mukherjee.
