Ammy Virk apologises for hurting religious sentiments with his song "Qubool A" from the film "Sufna"!

Ammy Virk is already making headlines for his involvement in Bollywood industry, and it it seems like once again the singer has landed into a controversial state.

The singer is now receiving hatred from public who reacted negatively to his song 'Qubool A' from the movie 'Sufna' which was released in 2020. According to the sources, the song has hurt the religious sentiments of the Muslim community.

However, unaware of the true meaning of the lyrics; Ammy Virk has issued a statement and apologized for unknowingly hurting the sentiments of the community.

Ammy Virk took to Instagram and shared an apology letter for everyone, stating that nothing was intentional and that if we had known the true meaning of the words, he would not have gone any further with the song.

Along with Ammy Virk, the other members of the Sufna team also asked for an apology for hurting the public's feelings.

The conflict arose when Naib Shaahi Imam Maulana Muhammad Usman Rehmani of Ludhiana's Jama Masjid objected to the use of the word "Rasul" in the song. 'Rasul' is the Arabic term for 'Messenger or Prophet.

However, the song has been now taken down as soon as the makers of the movie 'Sufna' have realized the mistake.
