Adipurush: 'A wonderful journey has come to its finish line' writes Om Raut

Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, has announced that the much awaited film has been completed.  The film has been gaining a lot of attention and creating a lot of buzz since its announcement. Adipurush, a film based on the Indian mythological tale Ramayana, stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, and Saif Ali Khan.

Prabhas plays Lord Ram, Khan plays Lankesh, and Kriti Sanon plays Janaki in the multi-lingual period saga, which is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. The filmmaker, best known for his work on Ajay Devgn's "Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior," took to social media to say that the team finished filming in 103 days and that they are now eagerly awaiting the film's release.

"It's a shoot wrap for Adipurush!!! A wonderful journey has come to its finish line. Can't wait to share with you the magic we have created. #Adipurush #103DaysOfShoot,” he wrote, alongside a picture with the cast.

The film, which is backed by T-Series, began filming in February of this year.

"Adipurush," described as a film celebrating the triumph of good over evil, is set to hit theatres on August 11, 2022.

"There is a lot of work going on," director Om Raut said of Saif and Prabhas' roles in the film. Saif and Prabhas have undergone a remarkable physical transformation, and there is also a lot of action. Prabhas has undergone a lot of physical transformation as an actor, and he's still working on it as we shoot.

With Saif Ali Khan, it is evident in the pictures, but I cannot reveal much.”

When asked about Kriti Sanon, the filmmaker said, "I think she's phenomenal." I mean, she's so genuine and pure, and it's a pleasure to work with her. Kriti has nailed the mental clarity required to play the role she is playing. She's also getting trained because she has to speak Telugu, which she doesn't speak, in addition to focusing on her diet and everything else. It just goes to show how much passion and dedication she brings to the table. So it was a pleasure to collaborate with her."
