The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has recently made significant revelations in the ongoing Aryan Khan drug case, shedding light on a plot to extort a whopping 25 crore rupees from Aryan Khan's family. According to the FIR filed against Sameer Wankhede, the former head of the Mumbai zone of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), and others, it has been unveiled that K.P. Gosavi, a witness in the drug case, was involved in targeting Aryan Khan's family for extortion.

CBI’s FIR against Sameer Wankhede on the complaint of NCB reveals that, KP Gosavi, independent witness in the arrest of Aryan Khan entered into a conspiracy to extort 25 cr from Shah Rukh Khan… the amount was finally settled for 18 cr and 50 lakhs was received as token amount. https://t.co/lKjI7J7qRT pic.twitter.com/tUyqAuWSCc

During the extensive questioning, the foreign trips of Sameer Wankhede, who has been at the center of controversy, have come under scrutiny. However, he has been evasive in providing any response regarding these trips. The CBI investigation has brought to light that NCB officials presented K.P. Gosavi as an NCB officer in front of the accused. Gosavi allegedly demanded a staggering 18 crore rupees from Aryan Khan's family in exchange for his release. In a startling revelation, the investigation has found that 17 suspects, including a drug dealer, in the cruise drugs case were released without undergoing any proper documentation process. Wankhede has failed to provide information regarding his foreign trips and related expenses, raising further suspicions. Additionally, it has been discovered that he engaged in buying and selling expensive watches with a private institution without informing the department.

As per the CBI's thorough investigation, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has disclosed that certain names were deliberately omitted from the list of suspects during the Cordelia raid conducted on October 2, 2021. Initially, the First Information Report (FIR) included 27 names; however, later on, 17 names were mysteriously removed, leaving only 10 names remaining in the FIR. Furthermore, the name of Siddharth Shah has emerged in connection to the drug supply to Aryan Khan's friend, Arbaaz Merchant. Surprisingly, Shah was also released despite admitting to supplying drugs to Arbaaz Merchant and partaking in drug consumption himself.

The investigation has uncovered further suspicious activities. It has been revealed that individuals accused in the drug case were transported to the NCB office using K.P. Gosavi's private vehicle, indicating a deliberate attempt to present Gosavi as an NCB officer in front of the accused. Moreover, Gosavi was granted permission to stay alongside the accused individuals, raising questions about the integrity of the investigation process.
