The sequel retains most of the core cast that made the first installment such a success, but there's an exciting new addition to the ensemble – Ananya Panday. The trailer received a positive response from the audience, and this positivity is translating into reasonably good advance ticket sales.

In a surprising pre-release ticket sales update, "Dream Girl 2" has already sold approximately 27,000 tickets in the top three national cinema chains: PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. This impressive figure was recorded 13 hours prior to the official release date.
