Kapil Sharma opens up about his struggle with depression; reveals dark phases of his life

Kapil Sharma news: Comedian and actor Kapil Sharma is referred to as the ‘comedy king’. The comedian is all set to launch his latest film ‘Zwigato’ which is inspired by the story of all the delivery men. Recently, the comedian revealed some of the darkest phases in his life which made him feel low.

Kapil Sharma's battle with depression and suicidal thoughts

In an interview, Kapil revealed some of his challenges including depression and sometimes he also had suicidal thoughts in mind. Further, the actor went on to say that he would feel lonely in spite of the massive fan following he has. 

The actor used to reach home and again feel alone. Further, he talked about the dark side of fame saying that once an individual becomes a star one cannot go out normally and live a normal life.

However, then life is just stuck in a two-room flat and when it gets darker the feeling becomes so bad that it is difficult to explain. Then, when he was asked that did he have any suicidal thoughts, to which he replied saying that he did have the feeling to commit suicide and end his life.

Furthermore, he stated that he comes from a background where mental health is not discussed at all. 

The comedian also mentioned that there were times when he felt low but could notice that through his face. Kapil said after coming out from the phase of depression he started observing things more wisely. Lastly, he said that if an artist is sensitive it does not mean he is ignorant of things.
