Main Vaapas Aunga Trailer: Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh was missing from the trailer launch event of Main Vaapas Aaunga, which took place in Mumbai on May 19. Since Diljit plays an important role in the film alongside Sharvari, Vedang Raina and Naseeruddin Shah, fans were curious to know why he did not attend the event with the rest of the cast and makers. However, fans were quick to wonder why Diljit, the face of the film, did not join the team for the big launch.

Diljit Explains why he didn't attend trailer launch

To clear the air around his absence, Diljit sent a pre-recorded video message that was played during the event. The actor revealed that he is currently in Texas as part of his ongoing AURA World Tour 2026 and could not travel back to India in time for the launch.

In the video, Diljit greeted fans warmly and said, “Hello folks, this is Diljit Dosanjh. Love and greetings to all. You are going to watch the trailer of Main Vaapas Aaunga, so enjoy it. I am in Texas, so I could not come. Tonight’s show in Texas is sold out.”

He further added that he was busy managing a few things there but promised fans that he would return soon in his signature fun style, saying, “Jaldi Main Bhi Vaapas Aaunga.” He also encouraged audiences to share the trailer, even joking that people should share it whether they like it or not because “after all, it’s Imtiaz Ali’s film.”
