Anushka is apparently honouring the women of cinema alongside Kate Winslet at the prestigious film festival, while Deepika was a member of the Cannes jury and took part in various panel talks and screenings.

The actress will go to the Cannes Film Festival, which is set to happen later this month, according to the ambassador, who shared a photo from the encounter on social media. In the caption of a picture that Emmanuel Lenin tweeted, "A pleasure meeting Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma! I wished Virat and Team India all the best for the upcoming tournaments, and discussed Anushka's trip to Cannes Film Festival."

The actress also serves as a brand ambassador for the well-known cosmetics company L'Oreal, and she will likely represent the company at the film festival. The actress filmed in Paris for the company's advertisements last year, and she posted snippets of her experience on social media.

The 76th edition of the festival will take place from May 16 to May 27, 2023. The jury for the prestigious French festival has previously included Aishwarya Rai, Vidya Balan, Sharmila Tagore, and Deepika Padukone, among others.
