Although the notice was issued by the police in the beginning of the month, and her lawyer consented to her visit on December 22, but she did not turn up on the committed date. Although she received a lot of backlash due to her objectionable comments, but she did not pay heed to anyone and continued with her ways. In one of the complaints lodged by citizens, a Mumbai based businessman filed an FIR against her at Khar Police (Mumbai). Kangana was eventually booked under section 295A which refers to deliberate and malicious acts aimed at outraging religious feelings or beliefs. She stated that the Khalistani terrorists might be arm twisting the government at the present moment, but they need a Guru like the lady prime minister who crushed them under her shoes.
