Anti Sikh Remarks: Kangana Ranaut questioned by Khar Police Mumbai

Miss Controversy Kangana Ranaut who has been in limelight due to her explosive remarks about farmers’ protest was captured by shutterbugs while appearing before the Khar Police on Thursday morning. Although the notice was issued by the police in the beginning of the month, and her lawyer consented to her visit on December 22, but she did not turn up on the committed date.

Since the beginning for farmers’ protest that initially started in Punjab, Kangana went to the extreme extent of terming them Khalistani and Terrorists through her social media handles. Although she received a lot of backlash due to her objectionable comments, but she did not pay heed to anyone and continued with her ways.

In one of the complaints lodged by citizens, a Mumbai based businessman filed an FIR against her at Khar Police (Mumbai). Kangana was eventually booked under section 295A which refers to deliberate and malicious acts aimed at outraging religious feelings or beliefs.

In one of her outrageous posts shared on her social media page, Kangana seemed to be pointing to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. She stated that the Khalistani terrorists might be arm twisting the government at the present moment, but they need a Guru like the lady prime minister who crushed them under her shoes.

Due to her continuous anti-farmers and anti-Sikhs remarks that further created a ruckus on social media, people across the globe objected to her outrageous statement that eventually made Twitter block her official handle forever.

Despite all this commotion, Kangana still seems to enjoy fistful of film projects that are coming her way. Amongst Tejas and Dhaakad, she would also be seen in the movie Sita: The Incarnation, where the audience will see her performing the character of Goddess Sita on big screen.
