While India was in need of the left arm pacer, Arshdeep Singh appeared as the ray of hope for the Indian cricket team. Meeting all the expectations, the 23-year-old Punjabi pacer is doing an exceptional job with the 'Kookaburra' in his hands. However, one mistake during India vs Pakistan match in Asia Cup 2022 brought him a lot of criticism.

The worst of all the criticism was the update on the Wikipedia page. Reportedly, the cricketer's Wikipedia page was vandalised as his page was edited to reflect his association with Khalistan.

India vs Pakistan match during the Asia Cup 2022 Super 4 was an interesting one with a neck-to-neck fight by both the teams.

Rohit Sharma-led Team India was defeated by Pakistan by five wickets. However, Arshdeep became the target of social media as netizens put all the blame on the young left-arm pacer.

While he is being attacked by trollers on social media, Arshdeep Singh told his parents that he was laughing at the tweets on the internet and that he was only going to take positives out of it.

As per the The Indian Express, Arshdeep Singh's father Darshan spoke to Arshdeep before boarding and the 23-year-old cricketer said that he was laughing at all these tweets and messages.

He said that he was only going to take positives from it and that the incident has only given him more confidence.
